Assignment 7.2
I think that digital storytelling is a great resource to use in the classroom. It's super creative and a fun treat for the students. I think this would catch and keep a student's interest on some topics; I think this would especially be great used at the end of a unit to kind of wrap-up the lesson or unit. I don't think it could be used frequently but, I think when it is used it will deliver the message from the unit or lesson in a way that would be memorable to the students in an effective way that is fun for both the students and the teacher.

I totally agree, I think that the digital story is so effective, that it should only be used to introdce a topic, or to sum up everything that has been learned at the end of the lesson. The digital has so much wow factor that using it everyday would cause it to lose it's flair!
I agree that the digital story should be used as an introduction/conclusion, but don't forget that we have still have many types of technology that can be used throughout a unit to keep it fresh to the children.
