I like your second essential question, I like that they have to think for themselves on why they would want to help the environment and that their answer would pertain to real life. good job :)
I personally like your first essential question. I feel that with the use of the Dr. Seuss book it would make for an amazing unit. I believe the use of literature enhances units and helps the students to fully understand concepts.

I really liked your question , i feel that because you ar doing deforestation through Dr.Seuss you will have a dtrong impacted.
